XLR long nut

We love our Floatboxx's ! Assembly it not to hard, but if we you'd ask us what is the hardest step... it must be the screwing of the XLR charge port. Due to the large overhang to mount and seal the lid, the locking nut for the XLR charge port is somewhat deep inside the box. There are 2 common methods:

1) file the corners of the original locking nut so you can tighten it with bend nose pliers, or

2) rotate the charge port with the charger plug while the locking nut is blocked inside the Floatboxx.

Now we offer a 3rd method: this special nylon nut with XLR thread extends the 22mm hex until past the overhang, so fixing the charge port is now easy as pie.
